Description of the company

Váhostav is one of the most important construction companies in Slovakia. Its activities are focused on the realization of large and complex constructions, and the provision of corresponding services.
The company also undertakes constructions abroad, representing around 10% of total output. In terms of sales, Váhostav ranks among the best 30 businesses in Slovakia. It has some 3,850 employees.

Acquisition

The acquisition took place from July to December 1996 and took the form of gradual purchasing of small share interests from domestic investors. We executed it for a client, the funding being partly provided by us. We managed to buy a 5% participation in share capital. The acquisition volume totalled 25 million SKK.
