OFZ’s
production program is focused on foundry production, especially
iron alloys and derived products. It exports the major part of its
production to the Czech Republic and West European countries, mainly
Germany, Austria and Italy. The company has around 1,900 employees
and it ranks among the twenty biggest exporters in Slovakia.

Acquisition
We
executed this acquisition on behalf of the management of the company
from October 1994 to May 1995. It took the form of purchases from
small investors and a gradual concentration of shares from smaller
domestic investors. We managed to buy a 13.3% stake in the company.
Acquisition volume totalled 81 million SKK.
